New Work Authorization Expiration Date Mismatch Message in Form I-9 Section 2
Description
We added a warning message in Section 2 of the U.S. Form I-9 that appears for the hiring manager when the Work Authorization Expiration Date in Section 2 doesn't match the date in Section 1. See More
Detailed Description
The new message warns the hiring manager of the date discrepancy and tells them to review and update the dates if needed, otherwise they must provide a reason for the date mismatch. There's a text entry field where the hiring manager can provide the reason for the different dates. If the dates don't match, the hiring manager must fix the dates or provide a reason for the different dates, before they can submit Section 2.
