Description

The Spell Check feature is Deleted on May 15, 2026.See More

Detailed Description

The Spell Check feature, which enables users to check spelling in text entry fields across SuccessFactors, is being permanently deleted on May 15, 2026. It is being gradually removed from 360 Reviews, Compensation, Goal Management, Performance Management, Career Development, and Recruiting. The deprecation is justified because modern browsers already include built-in spell check functionality.

Impact Assessment

Customers using the built-in Spell Check feature in the listed modules will lose this functionality on May 15, 2026. Users must rely on their browser's native spell check capability going forward. No configuration action is required as the feature is removed automatically, but end-user communication and training updates may be needed.

Test Recommendations
• Verify that spell check no longer appears in text fields within 360 Reviews, Compensation, Goal Management, Performance Management, Career Development, and Recruiting after the deletion date • Confirm that browser-native spell check functions correctly on impacted text entry fields • Test that no errors or broken UI elements appear where the spell check feature previously existed • Validate that the Manage Company Dictionary tool is NOT affected (it was explicitly excluded from scope)
