Detailed Description
The feature of triggering workflows through XML files (YouCalc rules) is being deprecated and will be deleted on November 13, 2026. Starting from the 2H 2023 release, new customers will be prevented from importing XML files to trigger workflows and can only use business rules instead. Existing customers are recommended to migrate their existing rules from XML files to business rules before the deletion date. Business rules, defined by users in Admin Center, offer a more intuitive and flexible way to trigger workflows compared to XML files.
Impact Assessment
Existing customers using XML files to trigger workflows must plan and execute a migration to business rules before November 13, 2026, when the feature will be deleted. New customers from 2H 2023 onwards will not be able to use XML files for workflow triggering and must use business rules instead. Organizations relying on XML-based workflow triggering will need to invest time and resources in migrating to the alternative business rules method, which requires less technical skill and provisioning access.
