Detailed Description

The manual Form I-9 Reverification process option available in Manage Data is being deprecated and will be removed on November 13, 2026. The feature reached End of Development on November 15, 2024, and will reach End of Maintenance on May 16, 2026. This functionality will be replaced with improved functionality as part of the 2H 2026 release.

Impact Assessment

Organizations currently using the manual I-9 Reverification trigger from Manage Data must plan to transition to the replacement functionality by November 13, 2026. After May 16, 2026, SAP will no longer fix bugs or deliver patches for this feature, requiring customers to adopt the alternative method for their business scenario. The delay in removal until 2H 2026 provides additional time for preparation and migration to the improved functionality.
