Detailed Description
SAP SuccessFactors has enhanced the Latest People Profile in mobile apps with multiple improvements including Microsoft Teams chat integration, employment indicators for contingent workers, badge management on Spotlight, field masking for HRIS entities and MDF objects, employment switcher controls, and new or modified cards in Personal Data, Job Data, and Compensation sections. These enhancements expand editing capabilities for emergency contacts, dependents, organization information, job information, employment details, and introduce new cards for Higher Duty or Temporary Assignment, Employee Cost Assignment, and Advances.
Impact Assessment
These enhancements significantly expand the functionality of the mobile People Profile, enabling users to perform more editing operations directly from mobile apps that were previously limited or unavailable. The introduction of field masking for HRIS entities and MDF objects requires configuration through the Configure Object Definition admin tool, impacting system administrators. The employment switcher enhancements and new cards for compensation and assignments provide broader access to employee data management, requiring appropriate role-based permissions to be configured.

• Test Microsoft Teams chat integration from Profile Preview with Teams enabled • Verify employment indicator displays correctly for contingent workers with single and multiple employments • Test Redeem Awards option under Actions and access to Spot Awards feature • Validate badge creation, assignment, and deletion on Spotlight • Verify field masking for HRIS entities displays correctly in View mode • Test field masking configuration for MDF objects (Payment Information, Recurring Deductions, One-Time Deductions, Employee Cost Assignment, Advances, Work Order, Higher Duty or Temporary Assignment) • Test employment switcher to show primary employment only vs. all active employments • Validate editing capabilities for Emergency Contacts, Dependents, Organization Information, Job Information, and Employment Details • Test Higher Duty or Temporary Assignment card display and permissions • Test Employee Cost Assignment card display and percentage allocation • Test Advances card display and new advance request functionality • Verify all role-based permissions are correctly applied for each card and feature
