Detailed Description
This enhancement allows administrators to report on person-related data in Story reports without requiring the biographical information permission from role-based permissions. Person-related data includes business email, dependencies, emergency contacts, home addresses, national ID information, personal information, phone numbers, and social accounts. This change helps organizations access employee details while protecting sensitive biographical information such as date of birth and place of birth.
Impact Assessment
This change impacts how administrators manage role-based permissions for accessing person-related data in Story reports. Previously, enabling biographical information permission was mandatory to access any person-related data tables. Now, person-related data can be accessed without this permission, unless at least one role has been explicitly granted the biographical information permission, in which case role-based restrictions apply. This provides more granular control over sensitive data access while maintaining security.
