Detailed Description

SAP SuccessFactors Learning now supports Microsoft 365 guest user accounts for Microsoft Teams virtual learning events. Instructors and learners can participate in Microsoft Teams virtual learning events using a Microsoft 365 guest user account. This enhancement extends Virtual Learning Service (VLS) support to customers who use Microsoft 365 guest user accounts.

Impact Assessment

Administrators must configure Microsoft 365 guest user email addresses for instructors in the Microsoft Teams Account ID field under People > Instructors > VLS Settings, and for learners in a custom field in the user profile. The custom field column number must be specified in the VLS Configuration file. This configuration is required for proper Microsoft Teams virtual time slot attendance processing.

Test Recommendations
• Verify that instructors can be assigned Microsoft 365 guest user email addresses in the Microsoft Teams Account ID field under People > Instructors > VLS Settings • Confirm that learners can have Microsoft 365 guest user email addresses added to custom fields in their user profiles • Test that the custom_column_number configuration in the VLS Configuration file correctly maps to the alternate email address field • Validate that Microsoft Teams virtual time slot attendance is properly processed for both instructor and learner guest accounts
