This enhancement improves the login failure process in SAP SuccessFactors by redirecting users to a static invalid login page when SSO-related authentication failures occur. Previously, users were redirected back to the login page after failed attempts, which could cause confusion and repeated login attempts. This change applies to tenants using direct integration between SAP SuccessFactors and a corporate identity provider (IDP), and does not affect tenants integrated with the Identity Authentication service.
Impact Assessment
This change provides a more predictable user experience during SSO authentication failures by displaying a static invalid login page instead of redirecting back to the login page. The impact is limited to tenants using direct corporate IDP integration, as tenants using Identity Authentication service are not affected. Users will benefit from clearer feedback on failed login attempts, reducing confusion and unnecessary repeated login attempts.
