Detailed Description

This UI enhancement removes the discrepancy between the requesting quantity and the actual quantity that gets deducted from the employee's time account balance. When an absence counting rule is configured that modifies the deduction quantity, an information message is now displayed on the UI that clearly tells the user what they are requesting and what is deducted. This change improves the usability of time off requests by allowing employees to easily understand what is requested versus what is actually deducted.

Impact Assessment

This is a minor UI enhancement that improves user experience for employees requesting time off when absence counting rules are configured. The feature is automatically enabled and only affects the display of information messages when specific configuration conditions are met. There is no impact on core functionality or data processing, only on the clarity of information presented to users.

Test Recommendations
• Verify that the information message is displayed when the time recording variant is set to Duration and Duration Display According To is set to Deduction Quantity • Confirm the message appears only when an absence counting rule is configured that modifies the deduction quantity • Test with both dropdown and input field configurations for the Requesting field • Validate that the message correctly displays both the requested quantity and the actual deducted quantity • Verify the feature works with time types that permit fractions for days and hours
