Detailed Description

SAP SuccessFactors is adopting SAP Cloud Application Event Hub as the central platform for event-driven integrations, making events from Employee Central, Onboarding, Recruiting, Offboarding, and Position Management available on this scalable platform. This enables real-time, event-driven integrations with improved integration capabilities and faster responses to data changes. With the 1H 2025 release, two additional Alumni Events from SAP SuccessFactors Offboarding have been added to the available events.

Impact Assessment

Organizations must have an active SAP BTP account and access to SAP Cloud Application Event Hub service to utilize these events. For Employee Central events, administrators must enable 'Integrating Employee Central Group Events with SAP Cloud Application Event Hub' in Upgrade Center and configure the 'Enable Event Publish' option for specific MDF configurations. This change enhances operational efficiency through automated responses to events and enables faster real-time integration capabilities.
