A new permission called 'Manager Reminders' has been added to control who can send overdue training reminders from the Team View page or the new Learning home page. This permission has been automatically assigned to all users who are currently managers and have both 'Access Team's Learning' and 'Access Direct Report' permissions. The permission can be accessed and managed through System Administration > Security > Role Management.
Impact Assessment
Managers who already have 'Access Team's Learning' and 'Access Direct Report' permissions will automatically receive the new 'Manager Reminders' permission, enabling them to send overdue training reminders. To fully utilize this feature, the 'Enable Email' option must be configured in Learning Administration > System Administration > Configuration > Global Application Settings > Mail and set to 'Enabled'. This is a minor change that primarily affects permission management and learning administration workflows.
