Detailed Description

Profile Preview and Spotlight of the latest People Profile are now automatically enabled for all customers in both web and mobile applications, with the admin switch removed. The feature includes enhancements such as improved contact information display, self-description truncation with expand option, updated Microsoft Teams Chat icon, direct access to manager profiles, employment indicators for contingent workers and alumni, and new Tags and Badges cards in Spotlight.

Impact Assessment

This change automatically enables Profile Preview and Spotlight for all customers without requiring configuration, removing the previous admin control switch. Organizations must configure specific functions such as login name permissions, employment switcher settings, and data privacy consent statements for profile pictures to align with their organizational needs. The addition of new cards (Tags and Badges) and employment indicators (Contingent Worker, Alumni) requires user awareness and potential training.
