Detailed Description

The Four-Eye Principle in Employee Central workflows is now person-based, improving control in scenarios involving multiple employments, such as global assignments, concurrent employments, or higher duties. The Four-Eye Principle is an internal control mechanism that requires decisions or transactions to be reviewed and verified by a second, independent individual. In Employee Central workflows, it ensures that the person submitting a workflow request cannot also approve it.

Impact Assessment

This change affects SAP SuccessFactors implementations by introducing updated behavior or new capabilities. Implementation teams should review the change and assess whether configuration adjustments, user training, or regression testing are required. The impact is expected to be minimal and may not require any action.

Test Recommendations
• Test existing workflows and business rules to confirm they trigger correctly with the new mechanism. • Validate that XML-based rules have been successfully converted to business rules. • Test the updated UI across supported browsers and screen resolutions. • Verify navigation flows and ensure no broken links or missing UI elements.
