We've introduced an option that allows the system to automatically change the existing primary records to non-primary when a new primary record is added. This option applies to phone and email records created or updated through imports , OData APIs ( PerPhone and PerEmail ), or business rules on both the legacy and latest People Profile. Employees can only have one primary phone record and one primary email record. Previously, if you added a new primary record through the above channels when there was an existing one, you would receive an error.

This change affects SAP SuccessFactors implementations by introducing updated behavior or new capabilities. Implementation teams should review the change and assess whether configuration adjustments, user training, or regression testing are required.
