This field was introduced to comply with the legal requirement introduced in Italy to track and validate sickness certificates provided by employees. The sickness certificate identifier can either be recorded by the administrator or by the employee themselves using ESS. This is a 20-character alphanumeric field in the country/region-specific Time Off object for Italy.
