Deprecation of Managing Proxy Access Through Employee Data Import or User OData V2 API
Description
We’re deprecating the ability to create or maintain proxy relationships through employee data imports or the User OData V2 API. Starting with the 2H 2026 release, the <PROXY> field in the user data file only displays proxy assignments. Importing the file with new <PROXY> values won't actually create, update, or delete proxy assignments. Additionally, you can still use the User OData V2 API to search for proxy assignments. However, creating, updating, or deleting proxy assignments through this API is no longer supported. You can continue to use Proxy Management and Proxy Import to create proxy assignments. A new REST API is available in 1H 2026 release for creating, retrieving, updating, and deleting proxy assignments for user management.
