HR administrators can now manage permission roles, role assignments, and permission groups through a new set of REST APIs. Previously, you could manage role-based permissions (RBP) through OData APIs, but with limited functionality. For instance, OData APIs don't support querying access users for a given role or role assignment, adding Metadata Framework (MDF) permissions to roles, or making delta updates to permission groups. Now we're offering new REST APIs to support expanded capabilities for RBP configuration.
