Detailed Description

You can add metadata to your HR policy documents stored in Google Drive, in addition to documents in your Microsoft SharePoint repository. On the Manage Document Grounding page, when using Google Drive as your data repository for the Ask HR Policies AI use case, you can define standard and custom metadata to your country/region‑specific and role-specific HR policy documents. Metadata can be added to documents in both personal and shared Google Drives.

Impact Assessment

This change affects SAP SuccessFactors implementations by introducing updated behavior or new capabilities. Implementation teams should review the change and assess whether configuration adjustments, user training, or regression testing are required. The impact is expected to be minimal and may not require any action.

Test Recommendations
• Test all API integrations using the updated or deprecated endpoints to confirm continued operation. • Validate authentication mechanisms (OAuth, certificates) for API connections after the change. • Test position management, headcount reporting, and org chart display after the change. • Test role-based permissions for affected roles to ensure correct data access after the change. • Validate that no unintended data exposure occurs with the new permission settings.
