Detailed Description

As an administrator, you can now configure how partial day absences are treated in dynamic break deduction to prevent double deduction of breaks when an employee has both working time and a partial absence on the same day. For each absence time type, you can decide whether it should be considered as working time or as a break for automatic (dynamic) break calculation. For example, if an employee has a doctor's appointment in the middle of a workday or takes vacation in the first or second half of the day, you can configure the system to treat these partial absences appropriately.

Impact Assessment

This change affects SAP SuccessFactors implementations by introducing updated behavior or new capabilities. Implementation teams should review the change and assess whether configuration adjustments, user training, or regression testing are required. The impact is expected to be minimal and may not require any action.
