Detailed Description

When a time container value changes to zero due to retroactive changes, the system now retains the entire time container record with its value updated to 0. In the existing implementation, if a time container value is updated to zero as a result of retroactive changes in time recordings, the system deletes the entire time container record. This differs from the behavior of Time Collectors, where the record remains and the value is updated to zero. This approach was originally chosen to avoid unnecessary data creation in the database.

Impact Assessment

This enhancement is automatically on and directly affects all SAP SuccessFactors implementations without requiring any configuration. Implementation teams should validate that the new behavior aligns with business requirements and communicate the change to end users if necessary.

Test Recommendations
• Test all API integrations using the updated or deprecated endpoints to confirm continued operation. • Validate authentication mechanisms (OAuth, certificates) for API connections after the change. • Test payroll replication or integration scenarios after the change. • Validate payroll results and data integrity in Employee Central Payroll. • Test authentication flows (certificate/OAuth/SSO) to ensure all integrations authenticate successfully.
