Detailed Description

The Spell Check feature in SAP SuccessFactors, which enabled spelling checks across multiple text-entry areas, has been permanently deleted as of May 15, 2026. SAP gradually removed this functionality from each product area including Compensation, Performance & Goals, Platform, Recruiting, Succession & Development, and Career and Talent Development. The feature reached End of Development on November 17, 2023 and End of Maintenance on May 17, 2024.

Impact Assessment

Any SuccessFactors EC implementation that relied on the Spell Check feature across modules such as Goal Management, Job Requisitions, Performance Management, and Career Development will lose this built-in spelling assistance as of May 15, 2026. Organizations must identify all areas where users depended on Spell Check and communicate the change to end users.
