Detailed Description

SAP is deprecating pension-related fields in benefit objects, with End of Development reached on May 17, 2024 and deletion scheduled for May 14, 2027. The pension-related fields have been moved into new benefit objects to improve functionality. After deletion, Story reports, APIs, Business Rules, and Integrations that reference the deprecated pension fields will stop working.

Impact Assessment

SuccessFactors EC implementations with Global Benefits using pension plans must identify and update all Story reports, APIs, Business Rules, and Integrations that reference the deprecated pension-related fields in benefit objects. The new benefit objects provide improved functionality and must be adopted before May 14, 2027 to prevent disruptions to pension benefit processing and reporting.
