Detailed Description

SAP is deprecating the Pay Scale Group API, with End of Maintenance reached on November 17, 2023 and deletion scheduled for November 13, 2027. A new effective-dated Compensation Structure object was introduced in the 2H 2023 release as the replacement. The Pay Scale Group API supports non-effective-dated Pay Scale Group objects, which are being superseded by the new Compensation Structure object for future enhancements.

Impact Assessment

SuccessFactors EC implementations that use the Pay Scale Group API for integration or data management must plan a migration to the new Compensation Structure object approach before November 13, 2027. Integrations, custom programs, or data imports that use the Pay Scale Group API will need to be updated. SAP recommends using the UI or data imports for viewing and changing non-effective-dated Pay Scale Group data in the interim period.
