Detailed Description
The data viewing feature in the legacy People Profile has been permanently deleted as of May 15, 2026. Users must now use the latest People Profile experience to view employee profile data. The deprecation began with data viewing in 1H 2024, and SAP notes that editing, history, and actions will be deprecated in subsequent releases. Several legacy People Profile functions are no longer supported in the new experience including the Notes block, Overview block, Finish Your Profile task, and People Picker.
Impact Assessment
SuccessFactors EC implementations still using the legacy People Profile for data viewing will be forced to the new experience as of May 15, 2026. Organizations must ensure all users are trained on the latest People Profile. Several legacy features no longer have equivalents in the new experience (Notes block, Overview block, Profile Completion table in Story Reports), while others have alternatives (Continuous Feedback instead of Notes, Global Header search instead of People Picker). Story Reports using the Profile Completion table must be updated.
